How this works
What you see
A live view of your child's classroom during school hours, from a camera your school already has. You see the whole room, including the other children in it. The picture runs a few seconds behind real time so it plays smoothly.
What you don't
No sound. No zoom, no moving the camera, no switching cameras. Viewing is only open during the hours your school sets, and closes on holidays and exam days.
Recording
SchoolEye does not record your child's classroom. We show a live picture and keep nothing. Your school's own CCTV system records as it always has — that is separate from SchoolEye and stays under the school's control.
Who else can see it
Only you, and only your child's classroom. School staff cannot watch any live feed through their admin tools. Your name and the time are shown on the video so any misuse is traceable to one account. The video does pass through SchoolEye's servers on its way to you; it is protected in transit but it is not end-to-end encrypted.
Raising a concern
If something you see worries you, or you have a question about the cameras, contact your school office. They decide which rooms are covered and can turn any room's viewing off at once.
