SchoolEye — How Parents Watch
See your child's classroom during the hours your school allows. No app to install.
Before you start
- SchoolEye works in any modern web browser on a phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to install.
- Your school lets you in by matching your name and your child's name with the school's records. You need the web address of the parent website from your school.
- A 6-digit code is sent to the email address or phone number the school already has for you. You do not type your contact details anywhere.
Steps
Step 1 — Choose your school
- Open the SchoolEye parent website from the address your school gave you.
- In the School list, choose your school (shown as School name — City).
- Click Continue.
Note: If you see "SchoolEye Live isn't active at any school yet", your school has not finished setting up. Please check again later.
Step 2 — Tell us who your child is
On the Find your child page, fill in:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Class | Your child's class, from the list. |
| Your name | Your name exactly as the school has it on its records. |
| Child's full name | Your child's full name exactly as the school has it. |
Click Send me a code.
Step 3 — Enter the code
- A 6-digit code is sent to the email address or phone number the school has for you.
- Type it in on the Enter your code page. The code works for 10 minutes.
- If it does not arrive, wait a moment and click Resend code. Only the newest code works.
- Typed a name wrongly? Click Use a different name to go back.
- After 5 wrong tries you are taken back to the start. Just ask for a new code.
Step 4 — Watch
- If you have one child at the school, the live view opens straight away.
- If you have more than one child, tap your child's name to switch.
- Outside the school's viewing hours, or when the school has turned a room off, you will see the school's own message instead of video.
- The picture carries a moving watermark, and it pauses if you switch to another tab or app. It carries on when you come back.
Step 5 — Your account and privacy
At the bottom of the page, open Account to:
- see your name, contact and school (only the school office can change these),
- turn on Email me once a day when viewing opens,
- choose your Language (English or Hindi),
- use Delete my data to remove your access and personal data. You confirm it with a fresh code, and you get an email when it is done.
If something goes wrong
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| No code arrives | Check spam or junk. The code goes only to the contact the school has on file — ask the school office to check it. If your name is spelled slightly differently from the school's records, the office may need to approve you first. |
| The code says it has expired | Click Resend code and use the newest one. |
| "Too many attempts. Start again." | You are back at the first page. Ask for a fresh code. |
| "Your school is finishing setup for this classroom" | Your child's classroom is not switched on yet. Nothing to do on your side. |
| The picture never appears | The classroom camera may be offline. Try again later. If it lasts for a day, tell the school. |
| "Signed in on another device" | Only one device per child at a time. Close the other tab or phone and reload. |
| The picture is a little behind real time | A delay of a few seconds is normal for live streaming. If it is always far behind, tell the school office. |
For anything else, please contact your school office.
